A community of transformed believers worshipping together
in Spirit and in Truth, loving Jesus passionately, serving
God and others wholeheartedly, reaching the lost zealously.

Vision is not seeing with the natural eyes. Vision is seeing with God's eyes.
Vision is to see the picture of what God wants the church to be.
A clear, divine-inspired vision brings focus and direction.
WORSHIPING TOGETHER
Worship is the act of attributing reverent honor and homage to God.
True worship is based on the correct understanding
of who God is and attributing the worth due to Him.
IN SPIRIT AND IN TRUTH
LOVING JESUS PASSIONATELY
Keep the fire burning and love with genuine affection for Him.
SERVING GOD AND OTHERS WHOLEHEARTEDLY
Serve God with a clear conscience and with the right motive.
Do nothing out of selfish ambition.
OUR STATEMENT OF FAITH
The fundamental beliefs of Agape Christian Churches are summarized as follows:
We believe in the Bible as God’s inspired Word. It gives instructions and
guidance on how to walk in this life’s journey. (2 Timothy 3: 16 – 17)
We believe in the existence of an eternal God There is One God,
eternally existing and manifesting Himself to us in Three Persons –
God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. He is the Creator and
Source of all things,both in heaven and on earth.
(Colossians 1: 15-17, Matthew 3: 13-17, Matthew 28: 19,
2 Corinthians 13: 14, Genesis 1: 26, John 1: 1-3)
We believe that sin came to man. It defiled God’s purpose for
humanity and that there is a need of a Savior in order to
reconcile man to the Holy God. (Romans 3:23)
We believe that the only way to be reconciled to the Holy God is
through repentance. It encompasses personal recognition of sin,
belief in Jesus dying on the cross for our sake and submission
to His Lordship in our life. (John 3:16; John 1:12; Luke 5:32; Luke 15:10)
We believe in water baptism by immersion in Jesus Name.
Water baptism was modelled and commanded by the Lord Jesus Christ
Himself to His followers after repentance. It is an essential act of
obedience for every follower of Jesus Christ.
(Matthew 3:16; Romans 6:4; Colossians 2:12)
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit. To live an empowered life,
the Holy Spirit must fill us. It is He who will give us the authority to use
and genuinely release these spiritual gifts to us. It is for the strengthening
of the church as we continue to serve Him and grow daily in His grace.
(1 Corinthians12:1 – 11; Acts 2:1 – 4)
We believe in diversity and unity in the Body of Christ. We understand
that it is our responsibility to connect to one another as a community
of believers, wherein we are planted to prosper and flourish, as we
work with one heart for the one Lord. (Hebrews 10:24 – 25; Acts2: 42 – 47)
We believe that God moves through prayer and fasting.
With humility of heart,private devotion and public prayer,
we seek God to move in a miraculous fashion. (Ezra 8:23)
We believe that giving tithes and offerings is God’s design. It is for the purpose
of supporting the local ministry and reaching the world around
us with His Word. (2 Corinthians 9:7; Malachi 3:8 – 10)
We believe that Jesus Christ will come again. To those who consciously
and continuously reject Him,awaits eternal punishment. But to those
who faithfullyobey and honor Him, awaits great reward.
